March 20, 2020

A Message For Our Customers And Suppliers

The safety and wellbeing of our customers, employees, and business partners is of the highest priority for Cornerstone Controls. With the continuing and evolving concern around COVID-19, we are committed to curtailing the spread of the virus and ensuring the continuity of business operations in support of our customers. Our business partners have also developed comprehensive plans to safeguard business continuity and minimize supply chain interruptions. As a business that sells, services, and provides Essential Businesses with the support and materials necessary to maintain operations, we are open for business and fully operational.

Cornerstone is taking appropriate precautions to protect our employees and those they have contact with as outlined by the CDC. We have a pandemic preparedness plan and communication procedures in place and are implementing the plan as appropriate and required based on our customer’s operations and plans, local, state, and federal governments recommendations, and local circumstances. We meet daily to discuss the previous day’s outcomes as well as any new information in order to quickly adapt and adopt new or improved methods as needed.

Cornerstone has infrastructure that supports remote operations and engineering and we have implemented procedures to minimize the spread of the virus and mitigate risk while still supporting our customers' needs in their own business continuity plans.

Our procedures include:
• Implementing a work-at-home strategy which enables approximately 90% of our staff to continue to deliver high quality services from home office locations.
• Our employees have been informed to follow the CDC guidelines for advised precautions.
• If an employee has been exposed to COVID-19 or has traveled to a location that has a Warning Level 3 Travel Notice from the CDC, he/she must self-quarantine for 14 days.
• We are requiring employees able to go to customer sites to take their temperature prior to arriving.
• Essential meetings are being conducted via WebEx; non-essential meetings, training, or group interactions are being cancelled.
• Restricting all business-related air travel.
• Increased cleaning at all locations.

You have our commitment to monitor the situation daily and adjust our plans and actions accordingly to minimize the spread of the virus, protect our employees and customers, and safeguard business continuity. Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns about our products and services.
