We are looking for an experienced engineer who has automation software and hardware experience. This role is an automation inside-sales position where you will work with customers to understand and define their needs, qualify the requirements and constraints, and propose an engineered solution that meets the customer’s expectations.
We provide solutions to customers using Emerson’s Automation Solutions product line. Success in this position will be obtained by having strengths in linguistic, interpersonal, and logical-mathematical skills; supported by a high level of basic engineering fundamentals and attention to details. Cornerstone proposals must meet the needs of the customer while being technically correct and error-free.
Experience in a manufacturing industry that utilizes automation solutions.
Working knowledge of electrical components used in an automation system.
Working knowledge of computer systems and computer networking.
Excellent customer communications and relationship skills.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Analytical thinking and problem solving.
Initiative and follow through to completion.
