This position will lead our customers in the design and implementation of their automation systems. This leadership includes aligning system design with customer standards, automation best practices, Life Science Industry best practices, and leveraging current and future functionality in automation offerings. As an Emerson Impact Partner for over 80 years, we provide solutions to customers meeting their business needs, helping them get the return on their investment in Emerson products.
This position is a highly collaborative role working with our customers in the Life Science industry, being intimately involved with their people and processes, and representing their interests for projects. This includes participating in control strategy setting, and ensuring system integrators provide solutions that meet the customer specifications through consultation, review, software acceptance testing, issue and risk management.
This role may also provide technical leadership to Cornerstone’s implementation engineers by providing guidance, review, and ensuring quality delivery of solutions on time. Issue and risk management of deliverables is required.
Requirements:
- 10 years of Automation project delivery experience
- 5 + years of DeltaV batch experience
- Automation design and leadership experience
- Multiple large Life Science projects successfully delivered.
- Excellent customer communications and relationship skills, including demonstrated customer project delivery examples.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Working knowledge of automation hardware components
- DeltaV integration with MES experience is a plus.
- 4-year B.S. degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Location for this position is Indianapolis.
