RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute technical tasks in the design, development, implementation, and documentation of process automation/control projects
  • Perform work within budget and schedule parameters and provide appropriate feedback to project manager for workload, schedule, and cost management
  • Perform work within applicable standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Assist with on-site startup and training activities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Familiarity with computing tools such as Windows XP, Windows 7, VBA, Access, Excel, Word, etc.

EXPERIENCE ENHANCEMENTS (Desired but not required)

  • Emerson Process Management DeltaV systems
  • S88 and SP95 standards
  • Knowledgeable on validation requirements for control systems in cGMP environments

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to quickly learn engineering tasks such as; read P&ID drawings, electrical drawings, various process flowcharts, etc.
  • Ability to quickly learn software tasks such as; graphics development, module builds, software testing
  • Goal and achievement-driven
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Individuals applying for this position will undergo a psychological interview and drug test. Recurring drug tests may be required based on customer requirements.
  • This position reports to a Project Manager
  • This position is located in Indianapolis, IN
  • Some work may require travel within a 4-state area (Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio).
