Business Issue
Obsolete and unreliable pneumatic control system, instrument and valves. Worked
with customer to scope transition to state-of-the-art control system, measurement,
valve positioners, and asset management solutions.
Project Summary
Conversion of the entire pneumatic control system to DeltaV process automation
system, with addition of new field electronic measurement devices and valve
positioners with asset management capabilities. The goal is to improve
reliability and enhance operations and maintenance. The system was
installed, wired and cutover in-between vaporization and liquefication processing,
while keeping balance of plan on-line. Operators were trained while
on site.
